Perpetual Spinach is a highly productive crop with larger, fleshier leaves than normal spinach.
Sow April to July 1in deep. Alternatively sow late to overwinter.
Can be harvested for months on end.
Lovely large leaves, can also be sown to over winter.
Sow Outdoors: March-September, thinly, direct into the required harvest position, 1in (2½cm) deep in rows 12in (30cm) apart. Keep soil moist at all times.
Grow On: If necessary thin seedlings to 4in (10cm) apart.
Harvest: April-October pick young leaves to encourage a steady supply.
Use thinnings as baby leaf. Use fleece to protect crop from frost or cold wind.
