Salvia ‘Wendy's Wish’ is an excellent ornamental sage that was discovered growing in an Australian garden in 2005 and is now available to buy for your garden. The result of a possible cross between buchananii and chiapensis ‘Purple Majesty’, it has a bushy form and that produces an abundance of deep pink flowers over a long period from midsummer, truly dazzling with a fragrance of citrus. The stems are attractive to and have a red tinge, creating yet another nice character to this overall beautiful perennial. Salvia ‘Wendy's Wish’ is a drought tolerant plant that is best suited to a sheltered, warm position in well-draining.
