I grew St George for the first this year and they have given us lots of lovely meals. This year has been very dry in my garden but that did not stop them from producing a very heavy and tasty crop. Definitely a "Must" for 2012.

Even during the difficult summer we have just had with extreme heats, winds and heavy rain, these beans survived and out of the three types planted, St George were the only ones that gave a crop. They are very tasty, stringless and freeze well - my vote goes to them every time. Behind them came White Lady with the other type a non starter.
