Rhubarb - Duo Pack

This Rhubarb Duo Pack contains:

Stockbridge Arrow Rhubarb (1 Crown):

A superb modern variety that has now become recognised as the quality rhubarb. Once established, each crown will produce up to 6lb of sticks in a season. These can grow up to 2ft in length when forced.

The sticks are red throughout the whole length and are especially tender, fine tasting and string-less when forced.

Champagne Rhubarb (1 Crown):

This is often considered to be the ultimate variety for forcing. We offer individual inspected and graded 2 year old crowns that have been grown from certified seed.

Received 2 strong crowns ready for planting. I don't receive my allotment for another 5 weeks, so planted on 12'' pots individually and placed them in my conservatory. Sticks are beginning to form. Plan to just let grow this year, then harvest next spring after forcing from Early February.
