It produces true mini pumpkins with each fruit weighing no more than 2lb / 1kg.
The flesh is firm so they will keep well until at least Christmas.

First time i have grown Pumpkin-It was easy to grow -takes up very little room and is a great veg similar to taste as a mild swede= And also makes a lovely sweet Pumpkin tart .recipe taken from Robert Carrier's cook book Cook/stew two small pumpkin in very little water mash and reserve. beat up two eggs add 4 oz suger -add a little evap milk and one tablespoon of treacle or molases-i like Treacle myself) add quarter teaspoon ground ginger-1/2 thats one half) teaspoon grated nutmeg and 1 teaspoon cinnamon a pinch of salt mix well and then add the mashed pumpkin and pour into a unbaked pastry case and cook till it is set like a egg custard-in 200C/400F/gas 6 ---eaten hot or cold --its lovely.
These are the most amazing little pumpkins, they are the pefect size to have one each for a meal and taste really sweet and delicious, the plants produced about ten pumpkins per plant last year and were top of our list of seeds to buy this year. They are great when scooped out and filled with cream and cheese and baked or just used as an alternative to baked potatoes.
