First year at my allotment and I grew these as ground cover and also as something for my little boy to grow. Very impressed with this.Great germination and quick to get established. Got 7 football sized pumpkins from each of my plants. They did seem to suffer from powdery mildew but the plants survived long enough for the pumpkins to ripen.

Pumpkin Spellbound Seeds 1020-2803

Semi-bush plants orange fruits ideal for Halloween.

Sow Indoors: April-May 1½in (4cm) deep in individual pots of pre watered compost. Keep soil moist at all times.

Sow Outdoors: May-June 1½in (4cm) deep in firm pre watered compost, at 65-70F (18-21C) Keep soil moist at all times.

Plant Out: May-June. Harden off young plants before planting out in the required harvest position 36in(90cm) apart when risk of frost has passed.

Grow On: Leave strongest plants to mature watering copiously in dry summers.

Harvest: September-October
