Last year we arranged a family reunion for Halloween. In the spring we sent a packet of Dills Atlantic Giant seeds to each family group offering a prize of a bottle of champagne for the largest pumpkin. Ours weighed in at 4 stone and was the star of the party. No-one else came close so we drank our own champagne. With everyone now determined to beat us we plan to repeat the exercise this year with two prizes, one for the largest pumpkin and one for the best carved pumpkin.
