Growing Calendar for Potato Wilja Gro-Kit
Delivery: Early January to Late April
‘Wilja’ is a second early, breed in the 1970s. The over all appearance from these high yielders make them good choice for the grower. In the kitchen they are best cooked by boiling because they keep their form well when cooked. Their flesh is white and the texture is floury which also makes them a good choice for mashing. A great second early that doesn’t suffer from many drawbacks.
Our Potato Grow-Sack Kits are made to last and are produced from strong interwoven polypropylene with two carry-handles. The 12 drainage ports ensure ease of irrigation without risk of water logging.
Re-usable and durable. Each Gro Sack bag is manufactured to the highest standard, and is re-usable for season after season. UV treated for maximum durability to 5 years. Each sack requires 50L of compost.
Too many potatoes for the bags provided and not enough "potato feed", otherwise all going well.
