Growing Calendar for Potato Charlotte Gro-Kit (Autumn Cropping)
Delivery: Early July to Late July
Do you dream about freshly dug new potatoes late in the year – or even with your Christmas day lunch? Well the dream could be a reality with Marshalls Potato Charlotte Gro-Kit.
Let’s face it, harvesting delicious new potatoes from your own garden to go straight in the pot is just unbeatable! The ideal time for planting is July- late August – Growing a late crop in Gro-Sacks rather than in the ground means that if there is a high risk of late blight in your area, or the chance of an early frost, the crop can easily be moved undercover to extend the growing season.
As the weather turns cooler the potatoes will stop growing and the tops die back. Remove the tops and the potatoes will happily sit in the Gro-Sack until you need them.
Each kit now comes with FREE Marshalls Specialist Potato Fertiliser.
We deliver them July- late August at just the right stage to burst into strong, vigorous growth.
The perfect way to grow Charlotte potatoes, even if you have little space. What's more, for extra early crops, start off in the warmth of a greenhouse and then transfer outside.
Potato Charlotte produces an excellent crop of uniform shallow-eyed, long-oval tubers 50% bigger than other salad varieties. Tender creamy-yellow flesh remains very firm and has a mouth-watering flavour hot or in salads!
Charlotte is our favourite salad potato and regularly recommended by top chefs! Ready for harvesting between November and December.
Made to last a lifetime from strong interwoven polypropylene with two carry-handles. The 12 drainage ports ensure ease of irrigation without risk of water logging. Size H 18in x W 12in/46.5cm x 30cm.

Although need to see what yield I get.
Grew them this spring/summer an had a descent crop so hopefully my autumn crop will be as good
Bags were very good, however the seed potatoes were not. Obviously not enough care taken to ensure the product went out to the customer in excellent order. One bad and dead potato could easily have been seen and replaced. Not happy..see photo
