P9 Plants
The largest of our potted plants, P9s have an established rootball and growing top. They are supplied in a 9cm square outer and are usually shipped in a protective blister pack within a strong shipping box.
Plug plants and P9 plants are despatched by 1st Class post for speedy delivery.
Soft Fruit
All soft fruit plants, canes and bushes are shipped in the dormant state. Each variety is clearly labelled and the plants are wrapped in plastic and despatched in a strong shipping outer. On receipt remove from packing and immerse the roots in water for 24 hours before planting out. In poor weather heel into the ground or plant in moist compost until the conditions improve.
Mininplus Plugs
Our Miniplus plugs are established, healthy young plants in prime condition for growing in a greenhouse, cold frame or conservatory. Pot up into small pots on receipt and keep the compost moist. Plant out when conditions allow. Miniplus plugs are supplied in trays withing a strong shipping box.
Maxiplugs
These are well grown, large plug plants usually 4cm in diameter. They are ready for planting into final containers amd growning on until the weather allows them to be moved outside. Maxiplugs are supplied in protective blister packs within a strong shipping box.
Fruit Trees
Our fruit trees are supplied in their second year of growth and either as a maiden or feathered maiden. All trees are grafted onto a dwarfing rootstock for controlled growth and easy management. They come complete with a strong support guard.
Fruit trees will happilly stay in their boxes for several weeks, but if possible remove from the box, immerse the roots in water for 24 hours and plant out as soon as you can after receipt.
In poor weather, heel into the ground in a sheltered spot before planting when the conditions improve.
