Pepper Joe's Long Seeds

This cayenne pepper is probably the longest of all.

Easy to grow, the long fruits can grow up to 10 inches in length, maturing to bright red.

They have a fiery heat and flavour for hot sauces. The peppers are thin walled tapering to a point. Dries easily and is excellent for pepper flakes as well as for fresh use.

Pepper Joe's Long Seeds 1020-2777

Grow this long fruited pepper in a conservatory, greenhouse or on a sunny patio.

Sow Indoors: February-April thinly, in clean trays of firm pre watered compost, cover with ¼in (½cm) of vermiculite or sieved compost. Place in warmth 15-20°C (60-70°F) and keep moist at all times.

Prick Out: When large enough to handle, transplant into 3½in (7cm) pots to establish.

Grow On: Plant out into individual pots or growing bags at a minimum of 15°C (60°F)

Harvest: July-October

Feed regularly to increase flowering and fruiting.
