Growing Calendar for Peach Tree: Peregrine
Delivery: Early November to Late April
Peregrine is an old peach variety that has been around for over 100 years - it was introduced way back in 1906 - it is still the most popular of all the white-fleshed peaches.
Grow it in a sheltered position and It does remarkably well in the UK, producing heavy crops of the most delectable, flavoursome, juicy, white fleshed fruit with sun-ripened crimson skin. Self fertile.
Rootstock: Prunus Persica
Nice looking tree. Good shape, but I could see the secateurs used were not as sharp as I wuld have liked as some of the cuts were fuzzy.
