Sowed 2 short rows at the beginning of March (in Cocentaina, Spain) and the germination rate is brilliant! I have them covered with a fleece tent and with little pea sticks in already. The temperatures have been unseasonally warm (early 30's) for the last couple of weeks, so let's see what happens next. Watch this space...

Last year this variety produced almost 100% germination, strong plants (in root trainers) and a great crop of moth-free, tasty peas. We're going to plant twice as many this year!

Crops consistently well. Flavour sweet and juicy. If you only have room for one variety of pea, Kelvedon Wonder is the one to go for.
