Growing Calendar for Outdoor Bloom Chrysanthemum - plants
Delivery: Early April to Early June
Outdoor Blooms can be grown in any border and have lovely large flower heads.
To produce the best and biggest blooms you will need to ‘stop' the plants (pinch out the growing tip) to produce a bushier plant. On the growing stems ‘dis-bud' some of the side shoots (nip off buds that form at the leave axis) restricting the number of flowers that form per stem channelling the plants energy into producing larger blooms.

Young Plants are grown from cuttings in individual cells. When they arrive they will be 2-4in/5-10cm from root to tip with a well developed root system, or pot up in 3½in/9cm pots to grow on.
