Onion Sets: Stuttgarter Stanfield (Regular)

Stuttgarter Stanfield onions have a greatly improved yellow skin quality, making it an excellent choice for the home gardener.

The bulbs have a slightly flattened shape, excellent keeping qualities and are slow to bolt.

It has a sweet, smooth and very mild taste, delicious for salads or cooking.

Special Note: Onion sets are simply small, immature onions, which have been lifted and dried to prevent any further growth. Once planted in spring the sets grow in size and each one forms a full-sized bulb when ready to harvest.

I bought these this year - although i haven't harvest yet, they are looking good - everyone that was sown came up - cant ask much more than that can you? They are looking green and strong - can't wait to harvest, and best of all great price. : )

These onions are easy to grow and you get a very good yield. I have grown them for two years now and have had a very good crop from them every time. They are also easy to keep over the months. I would recommend these to anyone.
