The British bred variety is one of the best.
It is slow to bulb, and can be sown all through the summer for harvesting up until September.
Then sow in October for the earliest of spring onions next year.

We have been eating these in salads, stir-frys, omelettes, just about anything really. Uproot and use immediately, they are brilliant. Exceptional flavour.
Onion Seeds - Spring: Eiffel 1020-2718
This is a quick growing hot spring onion
Sow Outdoors: March-August thinly ½in (1cm) deep and in short rows 6in(15cm) apart directly into harvest location. Keep soil moist at all times.
Thin Out: not needed pull as required
Plant Out: Sow fairly thick directly into harvest location.
Harvest: June-October as required,. Sow little and often for regular harvesting.
