Mixed Lavender flower Collection, 5 plants

  • Catalogue Code 5120-7204
  • Pack Contents: 5 Young Plants, 1 of each variety

A perfect collection for real lovers of Lavender! This collection looks fantastic planted individually in terracotta pots as well as planted together in the border to make a beautiful and varied group.

There's nothing like Lavender for adding traditional cottage-charm to a garden. Lavenders are not only beautifully scented and elegant, but they're adored by bees and butterflies too - you'll find them on the RHS Perfect for Pollinators list.

What's more, they're drought tolerant and very easy to look after too. Lavender plants are virtually maintenance free, only requiring a quick prune in the autumn after the flowers have faded. It's easy to do, just snip off the new growth and flower stems with secateurs, leaving the evergreen foliage in tact.

. This collection includes five fantastic varieties, from elegant, traditional, highly scented Munstead and Hidcote, to new and unusual types, such as Lavender French Tiara

  • Growing PerennialsGrowing Perennials

Perennial plants are the mainstay of the flower garden; many will flower all summer, becoming dormant in autumn to reappear in spring. Perennials tend to be non-fussy plants and are easy to look after - they just need the old stems cutting back in late autumn, which helps to promote new stems and vigorous growth the following spring, getting bigger and better every year!
