two plants sown, both germinated, and grew on, one given to a friend who kept in a green house, not sure of the outcome, mine grown against an east facing wall outdoors. Despite a slow start produced 2 superb sweet and perfect small melons picked in late september last year. Am sewing remaining 8 seeds now ( two started already and growing on, but will keep most outside due to lack of space. Worth a try as the flavour fantastic.
All 10 seeds germinated, the plants grew very well but then just uped and died> might give them another go but not sure
Sadly it is not possible to give this product a zero rating. Five seeds sown, 100% germination, grown on in greenhouse; three plants hardened off and planted out in a sheltered yet sunny spot, the rest remained under glass. Initial signs were favourable; growth rate was steady & plants appeared sturdy. They were potted on several times and had a well-developed root ball when planted in their final locations. The result? Zero fruit; not one flower appeared. I finally consigned the plants to the compost heap last weekend; thankfully the two other varieties of melon I've been growing have performed superbly.
