Having just erecting a greenhouse, I bought these seeds because my family love melons. Every single seed has germinated, what excellent strong plants they are growing into! I am sure the fruit will be very tasty too! Extremely good value for money.

Unbeatable flavour, Charentais type.

Sow Indoors: April-May 1in (2cm) deep in individual 3.5in (9cm)pots of pre watered compost. Place in a propagator at 20-25°C (68-77°F) Keep soil moist at all times.

Grow On: When first true leaves have opened remove from propagator and grow on at 18-20°C (64-68°F)

Plant Out: June. Harden off young plants before planting out into grow bags or 12in (30cm) pots in an unheated frost free glass house.

Train plants up canes, strings or wires. Pinch off above 2nd leaf, stop each lateral after 3rd leaf, stop again 2 leaves after a fruit. Keep well watered. Feed regularly. Do not remove male flowers.
