Now that the sunshine seems to have finally arrived, why not get out the deckchair and grab a few minutes to read the Marshalls 2010 summer catalogue.

We’ve added over 70 new products this year. Do take a look at our special offers such as our new collection of summer sown seeds on page 3 and our late summer planting young plant collections on page 18, plus misted tips strawberries on the back cover.

Also do take a look at nutritious Micro Meg plus the Marshalls new low cost windowsill micro veg propagators, featured on pages 16-17. The range includes dark opal basil, chard, mustard and broccoli. Ideal for using in stir fries, as a garnish or in salads.

If you are on our press list we have enclosed samples of Nemaslug natural slug killer and Nemasys Grow Your Own Pest Control for you to try. Each is a naturally effective, safe and easy to apply solution for pest control that lasts for up to six weeks.

Nemaslug contains millions of naturally occurring microscopic nematodes called Phasmarhabditis hermaphrodita that kill slugs both above and below ground. It is completely harmless to birds, hedgehogs and other wildlife as well as pets and children.

Apply it via a watering can to well worked, moist soil.
