i have bought this lettuce every second year,as what you get is the biggest leaf lettuce i have seen,not everyone's favourite in my house,but i love them,they can be very attractive to garden pests,but with the right garden management you can get a quality crop,another great product.

Chunchy in salads or cook as a vegetable.

Sow Indoors: June-September thinly ½in (1cm) deep in clean trays or modules of firm pre watered compost. Keep soil moist at all times.

Sow Outdoors: June-September thinly ½in (1cm) deep in direct harvest location. Keep soil moist at all times. Prefers full sun.

Thin Out: 12in (30cm) apart,

Plant Out: July-September into harvest position 12in (30cm) apart with 12in (30cm) between each row.

Harvest: October-December when the centre is feels firm.

Seed sown later is less bitter
