I grew these in a raised bed in a cold polytunnel. They were delicious. Cut the heads low down and keep their stems in a bowl of water in the fridge, they retain crispness best this way.
I grew these in heavy clay soil and they where brilliant. A very crisp and compact lettuce. All in all very good product.
I GREW THESE IN A RAISED BED, THEY WERE GOOD TO GROW IN A SMALL SPACE BECAUSE OF THERE SIZE. GREAT FLAVOUR AND LASTED A GOOD FEW MONTHS.
Outstanding taste
