Sevilla has an erect habit with good shank length. From a successional sowing it gives a long harvest period with good standing ability.

It is easy to clean and harvest and is perfect for use as a slim baby leek.

Leek - Sevilla Seeds 1020-2578

Use as baby Leek or leave to mature.

Sow Indoors: January-February under glass.

Sow Outdoors: March-June thinly into pre watered soil ½in (1cm) deep in rows 6in (15cm) apart in seed bed. Keep soil moist at all times. Use thinnings as baby leeks.

Plant Out: April transplant when 8in (20cm) high into holes 6in (15cm) deep fill with water.Only when plants are well establised start blanching by earthing up.

Harvest: September-March.

Liquid feed during summer.
