Growing Calendar for Lady Balfour Seed Potatoes
Delivery: Early January to Late April
Lady Balfour Seed Potatoes have excellent resistance to the major potato diseases including blight scab and virus Y, it also has strong resistance to eelworm. Gives very high yields even in soils with low fertility. The pink-splashed tubers are very attractive with tasty creamy flesh best suited to boiling and roasting.
They are being chitted at the moment but look fine
Had these last year and have bought them again. The yield was excellent although I left some in the ground to use as maincrop and they were attacked by wireworm this is not the fault of the potato. I also grew some in 8 litre plastic bags and had a great yield from that method also. Excellent flavour if left this a bit later.
Arrived in good condition
