Super plant to grow, very hardy. Excellent flavour, especially if you pick the young leaves. I steam mine to retain the rich colour. Even had it with Christmas lunch instead of sprouts!

Kale - Dwarf Green Curled Seeds 1020-2534

Hardy with good flavour.

Sow Indoors: April-May sow in a pre watered seed bed ½in (1cm) deep.

Sow Outdoors: June-July Transplant when 5in (12cm) high into pre watered soil and firm in. Keep soil moist at all times.

Plant Out: June-July in rows 18in (45cm) Apart and 18in (45cm) between plants. Harvest: November-April Start picking young leaves from the centre of the plant to encourage side shoots.

Keep feeding plants to prolong shooting.
