Invicta Gooseberry crops twice as heavily as all other varieties, with large pale green berries. Highly resistant to mildew.
Invicta is an excellent choice for cooking, freezing and jam as the fruit holds its shape and colour well.
Ready for picking from late May.
The single plant arrived in a very dry condition with little evidence of live buds. I planted it immediately Andaman watered it well for a few days. It is showing no sign of green shoots and I suspect that it will not recover.
Shipped in good condition and growing well on the allotment.
Received my Invicta Gooseberry bush which I've heeled into the ground until I can move it to its permanent place. It's a good sized plant so I'm hoping it will sprout lots of new growth next year and produce a few plump gooseberries.
