I ordered this item, but the product I got was labelled "Hinnomaki Red". (Ed - Yes we substituted this super variety due to excessn demand early in the season - If the customer had not been happy we would have refunded him)I am however, very happy with the plants. They came with very substantial roots, which required pots with a circumference of 30cm. They were provided bear-root (that is, not it soil) and had no growth. Each plant had three canes coming out from the root and were about twice the size as those I have seen in garden centres; so my guess would be that these plants are 2 years old. Once planted, they grew quickly and were fully covered in leaves after 1 month. 2 months in and the plants have flowered and starting to produce fruit. Out of my numerous purchases from Marshalls, this is the one I would recommend most to others even though prices are not as competitive as other items.
