i HAVE HAD THIS FOR FOUR YEARS NOW BOUGHT FOR ME AS A GIFT AND IS WONDERFULL FRUIT AND IS THAT WELL LIKED BY FREINDS HAVE ORDERED AS A GIFT XX
Wow. what a crop! 4 picks so far this year, and that's without netting them. I have enough for the one blackbird on my allotment, and love watching her steal them. This bush was a present from the Caister on Sea Womens Institute for leading the walking group. What a lovely reminder each time I look at it. I thin out the fruit to use for cooking, leaving spaces between whats left for the fruit to swell comfortably. The fruit takes on a red brown tinged colour just where it joins the bush to let you know it's ready. Lovely. I recommend this bush to anyone.
August is primarily about harvesting your crops, but there are still some vegetables that can be sown and planted out!
