A very hardy mid-season gooseberry which reliably produces a heavy crop, year after year.

The medium to large greenish-yellow fruit has an excellent sweet, aromatic flavour, with a hint of apricot and has good disease resistance.

These plants were provided bare-root and with no growth. After 2 months, the plants have full leaf coverage. Although, one plant has not developed any leaves. The plants have a very wirey growth pattern, which makes excellent use of growing room, which makes up for them being shorter than other gooseberries. They are also a little slower to grow and fruit than their cousin Hinnomaki Red.
