Garlic Chive - Seeds

Flat leaved variety with a distinct garlicky flavour. Use both the leaves and the white flowers.

Chop finely and add in the last few minutes of cooking.

Very good added to scrambled eggs or omelettes. Excellent addition to salads or stir fries.

Sow Indoors: March-May thinly 1in (2cm) deep in clean trays or modules of firm pre watered compost. Keep soil moist at all times.

Sow Outdoors: April-June thinly 1in (2cm) deep in a seed bed or clean module trays of firm pre watered compost. Keep soil moist at all times.

Thin Out: 6in (15cm) apart.

Plant Out: April-June into the required harvest position 6in (15cm) apart.

Harvest: June-October

Perennial herb, will crop for several years. All parts of the plant are edible.
