Growing Calendar for Fritillaria meleagris Mixed - Snake's Head Fritillary Bulbs
Delivery: Late September to Late November
A beautiful, natural flower. This is a well balanced blend of chequered colours, ranging from pinkish-purple through to deep purple together with some whites to give contrast.
Suitable wild habitats for our native Fritillary have declined significantly over the years but as they grow well in any moist soil, you can help save them by growing some in a damp spot in your garden.
Left to self seed, over the years they will develop into a sizable patch.
Flowers: April - May
Arrived planted will see what happens
