We trialled Squashkin last year and found it excellent in all respects and we are pleased to be able to offer it to our customers for 2009.
This very unique variety is a cross between Pumpkin Crown Prince and a Butternut Squash and has inherited all the best qualities from each.
- The bright orange flesh is aromatic with a delicate melon scent
- It has a fine, very sweet flavour which is excellent when roasted.
- Having the shape of Crown Prince (but slightly smaller)
- Skin the colour and texture of a Butternut
- The excellent storing potential of both its parents
We are convinced it will become a Marshalls favourite - children especially will love its sweetness.
