These fairly new varieties have performed well in the UK, growing as far north as Yorkshire, and have been listed as the two favoured grape varieties for growing in Ireland for wine. Whatmakes them extra special is that they are bred from disease resistant varieties to make them more resistant to the mildews that tend to plague conventional grape varieties.

5 x Rondo (Red) Vines

5 x Solaris ( White) Vines

Well known among English wine producers, Rondo has adapted well and produces wines of quality and style, with overtones of classic reds. Solaris is the green sister of Rondo, producing naturally sweet dessert wines. Both varieties assure success in cooler regions and may be also eaten straight from the vine.
