Dwarf French Bean Seeds - Supremo (Borlotti)

Dwarf French Bean 'Supremo' forms a dwarf bush and has very attractive red pods with white flecks. The beans a beautiful and smooth which have a creamy background with red flecks.

The Supremo variety plants are high yielding with pods that grow around 6-7in/15-17cm in length. The beans can be eaten fresh or dried for use in a lovely winter salad.

Supremo has very good disease resistance and is a reliable and easy to grow variety.

The broad, 13cm (5") pink-red pods of this attractive variety each contain 6-7 cream and red streaked Borlotti beans.

The immature pods of Dwarf Bean 'Splendido' can be harvested and used as French beans, but are best left to mature and harvested for the full sized seeds in autumn.

Sow Indoors: April - May, singly in clean pots or modules of compost 2in (5cm) deep. Water well.

Sow Outdoors: May - June direct into the required harvest position, 2in (5cm) deep, 8in (20cm). Leave 18in (46cm) between each row. Keep soil moist at all times.

Plant Out: Indoor raised crops in May-June 8in (20cm) apart. Leave 18in (46cm) between each row.

Sow Indoors: April-May, singly in clean pots or modules of compost 2in (5cm) deep. Water well. Keep warm.

Sow Outdoors: May-June, direct into the required harvest position, 2in (5cm) deep, 4in (10cm) apart in rows 10in (25cm) apart. Keep soil moist at all times.

Plant Out: Indoor raised crops May-June 6in (15cm) apart after the risk of frost has passed in rows 10in (25cm) apart.

Harvest: July-October.

The beans can be eaten fresh or dried.
