This pack will treat up to 6 tree stumps of 10-15cm diameter or 120 square metres of perennial grasses, broad leaved weeds and other woody weeks (e.g. brambles) when using a sprayer.
This easy to use liquid concentrate rids tree stumps and woody weeds and is an effective herbicide to rid unwanted annual and leafy perennial weeds.
For larger trees and shrubs use Deadfast Tree Stump & Weedkiller by cutting and then treating the stump. Smaller shrubs and woody weeds (such as wild blackberry bushes), below 3 feet (1 metre) in height, do not always need cutting and Deep Root TreeStump & Weedkiller can be diluted as an overspray. For other annual and perennial weeds apply as a spray application.
Deadfast Tree Stump & Weedkiller will kill most living plant tissue and roots. As such, please avoid all contact with your prized crops and flowers which you want to keep.
Instructions For Use
Stump Application (Ready to use)
For best results stump-application should be made in November to March (avoiding application when the tree sap is rising).
Cut off the corner of the sachet and pour evenly across the cut surface of the stump as soon as possible but not later than a week after felling the tree or shrub. If a hard callous has formed over the top of the stump, expose some fresh wood by cutting or drilling into the stump surface before applying.
Spray Application (Dilution Required)
For spray application Deadfast Tree Stump & Weedkiller should be diluted with clean water.
Pour the contents of the 100ml sachet into a garden sprayer, or similar, and dilute to make 1 litre of spray. Spray weed leaves lightly until wet, but avoid run-off of the liquid.
For best effects, apply from March to October when weeds are actively growing on a large leaf area allowing plenty of weedkiller to be absorbed.
Effects may be seen within a few days but full control can take up to 4 weeks. If it rains within 6 hours of application re-treatment is recommended. Apply this product carefully and is confined only to visible weeds.
Tips for Afteruse
After use ensure that garden sprayers and other vessels used for application are thoroughly cleaned as traces of the product left in the equipment can damage or destroy plants sprayed later.
Keep children and pets away from treated areas until spray has dried.
Use Pesticides safely. Always read the label.
