Dahlia

Dahlias are stunning plants to have in a border. Most varieties are tall and vibrant with lush foliage and striking flowers in a huge array of different shapes and sizes. Planted with large foliage plants, such as Phormium or Cannas, they can create an exotic or jungle effect, or when mixed with traditional perennials they can add density and vibrancy to a planting scheme.

Many have long stems and are ideal for cutting. Keep cutting the flowers in the summer and more and more will keep on growing!
