Fantastic cucumber - great cropper producing continuous supply of fruit that are about half the length of normal "long" cucmbers but the same width. Really easy to grow (though watch out for red spider mite in the greenhouse). Still cropping in September!

Perfect for lunch boxes.

Sow Indoors: April-May ½in (1cm) deep in individual modules or 3in (8cm) pots of firm prewatered compost. Keep soil moist at all times. Temperature21oC (70oF)

Plant Out: June into greenhouse border or grow bags.

Grow On: Train up canes or string. Water sparingly at first and increase as plant grows. Feed regularly. Remove all side shoots from the bottom 2 ft (60cm). Nip out shoots a couple of leaves beyond developing fruits.

Harvest: July-September.

All female variety although some male flowers may be produced which require removal.

Pick fruit regularly.
