Adds a zing to salads and as an ingredient substitute for watercress. Great germination rate and pretty pest resistant too.

I GREW THIS UNDER GLASS IN OCT AND IT WAS EASY. THE CRESS IS PEPPERY TASTY AND HAS SUPPLIED US WITH SALAD GARNISHS, SOUP, SAUCES THAT HAVE BRIGHTENED UP SOME ORDINARY MEALS AND CRESS IS VERY NOURISHING. IF IT THE ROMANS FED THEIR SLAVES ON IT TO KEEP THEM FIT AND WORKING MY WIFE SAYS ITS GOOD ENOUGH FOR HER TO GIVE TO ME.

I have grown land cress for a few years now. It is excellent for growing through the winter and stood through all the snow in Yorkshire last year, sending out fresh leaves in the spring. It adds a lovely peppery flavour to salads, is excellent in stir fries and makes a good substitute for watercress in soup.
