Growing Calendar for Crab Apple Jelly King - Apple Tree
Delivery: Early November to Late April
Crab Apple Jelly King consistently yields a good crop of large orange/pink fruit that hangs on the tree for longer than most other varieties so you will be able to pick masses in the autumn and make lots of crab apple jelly.
Serve this with lamb as a tasty alternative to redcurrant jelly. Forms a compact tree which is covered with white blossom in the spring.
Tree appears to be in good health with good even root distribution. Graft a little close to rootstock making mulching difficult but time will tell!
