Tuscany is well suited to the UK climate and will fruit well even in the North!

Producing high yields of very dark, straight fruits, the plants have an erect, open habit with very few spines making picking easy.

Very good powdery mildew resistance.

Fantastic germination rate. Started seeds off in Greenhouse & planted out in early June. We live 1100ft up in the Pennines with plenty of Wind & rain. Continuous cropping from early July & still growing strong in Late September. The kids also decided to let a few grow to "marrows" 40cm long which we stuffed & baked - delicious & not at all woody. Others we picked at various sizes every other day - all delicious either steamed or fried. Also made tempura with the flowers. will be ordering them again next year

The Tuscan is by far the best green courgette. They hold up very well in cooking with a good firm skin. They have great flavour. Best picked when small but they remain a great fruit even when you've missed them and they are a little over sized.
