Great courgettes. Sensational germination and extremely productive. I agree with the previous reviewer, they have a wonderful creamy texture and a great flavour. Much higher yield than our other courgette varieties.

The seeds germinated far better than our traditional green courgettes and the plants were very robust. Also produced far more courgettes than the green variety. Taste great, wonderfully creamy texture - and look great on the plate.

Courgette - Atena Seeds 1020-2248

Golden yellow fruits.

Sow Indoors: April-May ½in (1cm) deep in individual module trays of firm pre watered compost 21°C (70°F). Keep soil moist at all times.

Sow Outdoors: May-June ½in (1cm) deep direct in harvest location. Keep soil moist at all times.

Plant Out: June. Harden off young plants before planting out into the required harvest position 3ft (90cm) apart when risk of frost has passed.

Harvest: July-October.

Pick regularly when fruit is 4in (10cm).
