Celeriac Monarch Seeds

Didn't have any trouble germinating them and the tops grew large and healthily but the final crop was disappointingly small. They take up a lot of space so next time I'll save it for something else and just buy a few roots when I fancy cooking them.

Cannot totally agree with description of being easy to grow. Although I've never grown celeriac before, have been gardening for many years. I found germination to be very uneven. Also, very hit and miss once planted out. Will try again this year as last summer really too poor to judge properly.

These seeds are amazingly easy to grow. As a new vegetable gardener I was delighted by the number which came up but puzzled by their staggered germination - possibly due to variable seed depth? - anyway, having pricked out the largest seedlings - twice - others are still coming up, so I shall pot them up to grow on later. Watch this space for a review of their harvest!
