Leaf growth is vigorous. Fold these over the curds to protect them from the worst of the winter weather.

Sow Indoors: May-June thinly ½in (1cm) deep in clean trays or modules of firm pre watered compost. Keep soil moist at all times.

Sow Outdoors: May-June thinly ½in (1cm) deep in a seed bed or clean module trays of firm pre watered compost. Keep soil moist at all times.

Thin Out: 4in (10cm) apart.

Plant Out: July-August into the required harvest position 18in (45cm) apart with 18in (45cm) between each row when plants have 3-4 true leaves.

Harvest: March-April

Cauliflowers should be grown in firm soil.

Protect from Cabbage White Butterfly with netting.

Cover curds with leaves to protect from bad weather.
