Carrot - Namur Seeds 1020-2094

Prize winning uniform Carrots.

Sow Outdoors: February-August thinly ½in (1cm) deep in shallow pre-watered drills, in soil that hasn't been manured in the last 12 months. Keep soil moist at all times. (Protect early sowings with cloche or fleece).

Thin Out: 2in (5cm) apart. Avoid crushing the leaves as the scent attracts carrot root fly.

Harvest: June-November, Ideal for pulling when young as delicious 'Baby' carrots

Carrots do best on light, stone free, fertile soils.

Surround the carrot bed with a barrier of fleece at least 60cm high to keep low flying carrot root fly from your crop.
