Absolutely gorgeous when steamed and a great dollop of butter slowly melting around the peaks HEAVEN. Easy to grow prefers a slightly heavier soil ,as sandy soil leads to smaller heads .

This is my daughter's favorite. What is best with this variety is that you can cut each part of the cauliflower to have smaller cauliflower and make a very attractive dish. Tasts wonderful on its own and within soups. Give it a try, this is my 3rd year that I grow it from seeds and wouldn't replace it.

Really unusual flavour. It tastes like cauliflower...blended with calabrese. If you like cauli & calabrese, but only have room for one or the other, this is a winner! My soil is quite light, so my Romanesco have looser heads than they should, but I would recommend this for anyone with rich, heavy soil who is cauliflower inclined.
