Dahlias will grow almost in any location, in any soil but they relish good, loamy, well-drained soil and lots of sunshine. Plant the tubers when there is no risk of frost and the soil has warmed up. When they are one foot tall start staking them. Lift after the frost has touched the plants and store the tubers in a cool, dark and frost free place over winter. Selected dahlias will grow 3-4ft/90-120cm tall.

Very healthy tubers packaged well and delivered intact. These have all grown well and are now really getting into production, despite them having been late planted out due to very late frosts in these parts. Nuit d'ete is simply stunning and is a perfect companion to the golds and yellows of rubeckia, heleniums and crocosmia
