Vigorous growth and delicious old fashioned taste, stands well without splitting.

Cabbage - Excel Seeds 1020-2254

For spring greens or hearted cabbages.

SOW INDOORS / OUTDOORS: Early July for early Autumn green harvest or August for winter greens and hearted overwintered cabages. Thinly ½in (1cm) deep in clean trays or modules, or a firm seedbed. Keep soil moist at all times.

Thin Out: 4in (10cm) apart.

Plant Out: August into the required harvest position 12in (30cm) apart with 12in (30cm) between each row when plants have 3-4 true leaves.

Harvest: September leafy greens from July sowing. October - March leavfy greens from August sowing. If left will produce hearted cabbages to June.

Protect from Cabbage White Butterfly with netting.
