‘All round' doesn't refer to its shape - Cabbage Duncan is actually a ‘pointed' variety - but to the fact that it is so versatile.
It can be harvested in the autumn from an early summer planting, picked as unhearted leafy greens in late autumn from a late August planting, or over-wintered and picked whole in the spring, again from an August planting.
I have grown many types of cabbage before but these are by far the quickest growing and taste lovely. I'd definately buy them again.
Having had zero success last year with garden centre cabbage variety, I opted for these plug plants this year. I am a fairly novice gardener however these seem to be thriving, keeping them under netting has helped keep caterpillars at bay. Very impresse with this purchase.
