I sowed these cabbages last July for a spring crop. During January, the whole lot were savaged by pigeons and I would have dug them up had the ground not been frozen solid. By mid february, the plants were showing signs of recovering and grew strongly over the next few weeks. I cut the first solid heart on April 16th and as I write this on June 12th, I still half a dozen ready to cut, none of which are showing any signs of splitting. Overall, a fantastic durable variety, well worthy of 5 stars.
