Growing Calendar for Busy Lizzie New Guinea Divine Mix- Plants
Delivery: Mid April to Mid May
Help eliminate the risk of disease with this downy mildew resistant New Guinea Impatiens.
This robust variety has flowers that are twice as big as normal Busy Lizzies. It is also much more tolerant of cold and wet weather, showing the greatest resistance to downy mildew. Perfectly suited to either full sun or partial shade.
HHA-half hardy annual
Large Plugs (24 cells per tray) - Are strong enough to be planted into in baskets or containers or into their final position provided the temperature is warm enough and there is no risk of frost. If not they will benefit from potting on into 7cm/3in pots to allow them to grow on before planting out. Plants will be approximately 7cm/3in from base to tip.
Sadly only 2 of the plants were in their slots, the others were all over the place. Only 2 plants have survived and no idea if these were the 2 still in their slots, but I think that the die-off was due to frost (in the greenhouse) and not poor packaging! So whilst not happy with the state of the plants, can't really blame Marshalls and I will continue to use them
